시각보조 원천기술 개발 성공, 300억 원 규모 해외 수출 기여
㈜씨앤피(대표 박경민)가 지난 21일 ‘2025년 과학·정보통신의 날 기념식’에서 대통령 표창을 수상했다.
한국과학기술회관에서 열린 이날 행사에는 유상임 과학기술정보통신부 장관을 비롯한 정부 관계자들이 참석했으며, 과학기술 및 정보방송통신 분야의 발전에 기여한 개인과 기업을 선정해 수상식을 진행했다.
씨앤피는 저시력 시각장애인과 고령층을 위한 시각보조 원천기술을 개발하고, 300억 원 규모의 해외 수출을 달성해 국민 삶의 질 향상 및 대한민국 정보통신 분야의 위상 제고에 기여한 공로로 ‘2025년 정보통신 유공 정부포상자’로 선정됐다.
씨앤피는 중소벤처기업부의 ‘글로벌 강소기업’, 특허청의 ‘글로벌 IP스타기업’, 소재부품전문기업, 바이오헬스분야 선도기업으로 선정된 기업이다. 시니어 고령층, 저시력 학생 및 직장인을 위한 전자 확대기 등 시각보조기기와 영상처리 원천기술을 개발해 미국, 유럽, 일본 등 26개국에 수출하고 있다
박경민 씨앤피 대표는 “미국, 유럽, 일본 등 해외 선진국에 수출에 성공하고, 대한민국의 정보통신 위상 제고에 기여한 것을 인정받아 영광스럽게 생각한다”고 수상 소감을 전했다.
한편, 씨앤피는 서울 강남구 도곡동과 부산 해운대구 센텀시티에 사무실 및 연구소를 운영하고 있다.

C&P Develops Core Visual Assistance Technology, Contributes to 30 Billion KRW in Overseas Exports
SEOUL — C&P Co., Ltd. (CEO Chris Park), a South Korean technology company, has been honored with a Presidential Citation for its significant contributions to the nation’s science and ICT sectors.
The company received the award during the ‘2025 Science and ICT Day Ceremony’ held on the 21st at the Korea Science and Technology Center. The event was attended by government dignitaries, including the Minister of Science and ICT, to recognize individuals and corporations that have spearheaded advancements in science, technology, and information communications.
C&P was selected as a recipient of the ‘2025 ICT Merit Government Reward’ (2025년 정보통신 유공 정부포상자) in recognition of its development of core visual assistance technologies designed for the visually impaired and the elderly. The government also credited the company with enhancing the quality of life for citizens and elevating South Korea
's status in the global ICT arena by achieving 30 billion KRW in overseas exports.
C&P has been designated as a ‘Global Small Giant Company’ by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and a ‘Global IP Star Company’ by the Korean Intellectual Property Office. It is also recognized as a specialized materials and components company and a leading company in the bio-health sector. The company develops visual aids—such as electronic magnifiers for seniors, low-vision students, and office workers—as well as core video processing technologies, exporting them to 26 countries including the U.S., Europe, and Japan.
“I am honored to be recognized for our export success in advanced markets like the U.S., Europe, and Japan, and for contributing to elevating the status of Korea’s ICT,” said CEO Chris Park.
C&P currently operates offices and research centers in Dogok-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and Centum City, Haeundae-gu, Busan.
